Cindy Meale

VP of WIC Services

Cindy Meale, a Registered Dietitian, is the Director of the Butler County WIC Program.   She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Cincinnati.

Being of Italian descent, Cindy has always had a passion for food and cooking and an appreciation of diversity.  That combined with an interest in health care came the perfect profession—Dietetics.

Cindy has been with the Butler County WIC Program for over 30 years.  She has a passion for work in Public Health Nutrition, in particular, working with pregnant, breastfeeding and post-partum women, infants and young children.   She finds taking care of families during this critical time of growth and development and making a positive impact on their lives is extremely rewarding.    “I love helping families lead a better life style through compassion, good food, good nutrition and education”.

Donna Onderko

Donna is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Lactation Counselor who has been with the Butler County WIC program for over 28 years.  Donna graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband, two daughters and two dogs.

I value WIC because we have the opportunity to have a positive impact on so many lives from a very early age.  It is rewarding to help our families develop healthy eating habits and lifestyles.

Margy Martindale

RD - Registered Dietitian

Margy is a Registered Dietitian with the WIC Program.  She is from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and received her Bachelor in Dietetics from Akron University.  She loves working with moms and children and the elderly.  In addition to her background working with the WIC Program, she has also worked in hospitals and in geriatric care.

In her free time, she enjoys volunteering and has volunteered extensively with the Red Cross.  She was sent to work in the shelters after Katrina and also went to Florida in 2004 when the hurricanes hit.  She drove ERVs around to distribute food.  She says her volunteering with the Red Cross was a very rewarding experience. In recent years she has volunteered with various campaigns and helped register people to vote.

She is proud to have raised 3 daughters as a single mom and now has 7 grandchildren.

Tracie is a mother of 3 and values the relationships she forms in the clinic because we must all support one another on the journey.

I value WIC because.......

When we are in a space in which to offer words of encouragement or acts of compassion, it changes the community and world for the better, and that's a special privilege.
