Cindy Meale, a Registered Dietitian, is the Director of the Butler County WIC Program. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Cincinnati.
Being of Italian descent, Cindy has always had a passion for food and cooking and an appreciation of diversity. That combined with an interest in health care came the perfect profession—Dietetics.
Cindy has been with the Butler County WIC Program for over 30 years. She has a passion for work in Public Health Nutrition, in particular, working with pregnant, breastfeeding and post-partum women, infants and young children. She finds taking care of families during this critical time of growth and development and making a positive impact on their lives is extremely rewarding. “I love helping families lead a better life style through compassion, good food, good nutrition and education”.

When we are in a space in which to offer words of encouragement or acts of compassion, it changes the community and world for the better, and that's a special privilege.
